(8) Actively Promoting International Affairs and Research Related to Deposit Insurance and
Strengthening International ExchangesandCooperation
Inorder to strengthenexchangeswith thedeposit insuranceorganizations in foreign countries andother
financial safety net members, the CDICwill continue to participate in the activities and international
research projects of the IADI, foreign deposit insurers and related international organizations, as well
as assist in the formulation of international standards. It will also continue to participate in and host
international conferences and signMOUs toenhance substantiveexchangeswith foreigndeposit insurers
and strengthen international cooperation. Moreover, the CDICwill review Taiwan’s deposit insurance
mechanisms according to related standards and research announced by international organizations to
further improveTaiwan’sdeposit insurance system.
