The Deposit Insurance of Vietnam (DIV) held the IADI APRC Workshop 2023 on 9-10 November 2023. The main theme of this workshop was “Enhancing the Role of Deposit Insurers in Early Detection and Timely Intervention.” The workshop included presentations and discussions on the key features of IADI Core Principle 13, the role of deposit insurers in early detection and timely intervention, and the collaboration between supervisors and deposit insurers as well.

The CDIC Executive Vice President Mr. Kuang-Hsi Huang led a delegation to attend the workshop and was invited to share the experience of the CDIC’s role in Early Detection and Timely Intervention at Session One. He also exchanged views and opinions with other panelists. The presentation ended successfully, receiving positive feedbacks from all participants.

IADI was established in May 2002. Currently it has 123 members, including 95 Members, 11 Associates and 17 Partners. There are eight Regional Committees created to reflect regional interests and common issues through the sharing and exchange of information and ideas.
