The Central Deposit Insurance Corporation, Taiwan (CDIC) held a virtual meeting on 19 October 2021 with the National Deposit Insurance Fund of Hungary (NDIF). This meeting was co-chaired by CDIC President Mr. William Su and NDIF Managing Director Mr. András Kómár, and attended by relevant staff. In the meeting, both sides discussed and shared experiences in the issues relating to payout mechanism and system, setup of depositor electronic data files and inspections, information security, deposit insurance fund management and utilization, etc.

The CDIC and the NDIF have maintained a good cooperative partnership since the signing of an Memorandum of Understanding in 2005. Both parties will continue to share information and exchange experience in the future to help advance their deposit insurance systems, and to further protect the rights and interests of depositors.
