On August 3, 2018, CDIC President Mr. Michael Lin was invited to speak at the Seminar hosted by Deposit Protection Agency (DPA) in celebration of DPA 10th Anniversary in Bangkok, Thailand. The theme of this seminar was entitled “Deposit Insurance Trends and Challenges in the Digital Era” including the sharing of Thailand’s financial sector trends and developments in the digital age as well as deposit insurance and the digital era. The seminar attracted more than 300 participants from local financial supervisory agencies, financial industry representatives and international deposit insurance organizations such as Taiwan, Switzerland, Japan, Indonesia, Laos, and Malaysia.
The CDIC President Lin delivered a presentation on "Overview and Challenges of Digital Finance in Taiwan," sharing Taiwan experience with the audience. The presentation ended successfully with positive feedbacks from all participants.
