Mr. JaeHoon Yoo, Chairman and President of the Korea Deposit Insurance Corporation (KDIC) led Mr. Keehyun Park, Senior Manager of Office of Interational Cooperation and Mr. Dongwan Han, Senior Manager of Department of Savings Bank Risk Management to visit the CDIC on 25 August 2023. The CDIC Chairman William Su along with President Annie Cheng, Executive Vice President Yvonne Fan, and the colleagues from the Risk Management Department, Information Technology Department and International Relations and Research Office cordially received the KDIC delegates. Important topics on supervisory technology of internet-only banks in Taiwan were presented by the CDIC. Both sides discussed and shared experiences in the issues relating to supervisory technology of internet-only banks.

Since signing the Memorandum of Understanding with the KDIC in 2003, the CDIC has actively interchanged with the KDIC through information exchanges, visits and participation in meetings of international organizations. This time, the KDIC delegation’s visit focused on studying from Taiwan's experiences in the establishement of internet-only banks’ supervisory system. This is also beneficial to enhance the cooperation between both sides.
