The International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI) held its 67th Executive Council (EXCO) meetings including the Core Principles and Research Council Committee (CPRC), other Council Committee meetings, and Technical Committee meetings virtually in early March 2021.
CDIC Executive Vice President Ms. Yvonne Fan, CPRC Chairperson and EXCO member, chaired the CPRC meeting, and led the CDIC staff to participate in the 67th EXCO meeting and other meetings. In the EXCO Meeting, the Strategic Planning Working Group Report (with suggested Differentiated Fee Model), the revised Guidelines for the Development of IADI Research, Guidance and the Core Principles, and the CPRC Annual Policy and Research Plan for FY 2021/2022 were approved.
IADI domiciled at the Bank for International Settlements in Basel, Switzerland was established in May 2002. Currently it has 110 members, including 86 formal members, 8 associate members and 16 partners. Since 2002, CDIC has been actively participating in IADI activities as a founding member of the Association, promoting important IADI activities and joining the decision making process as a member of the EXCO since 2003, which is responsible for IADI's major policies.
