The delegation of the Deposit Insurance Corporation of Mongolia (DICoM) led by Mr. Lkhagvasuren Byadran, Chief Executive Officer, paid a formal visit to the Central Deposit Insurance Corporation (CDIC) on 25 April 2016. Other members of the DICoM delegation included four analysts, Ms. Oyungerel Damdin, Mr. Unurbold Sharavdorj, Ms. Gerelchimeg Battulga and Ms. Zandanbal Bolorsaikhan.
CDIC Chairman Hsien-Nung Kuei along with President Michael Lin, as well as three Executive Vice Presidents, Mr. Robert Chen, Mr. William Su and Ms. Anita Chou cordially received the delegation and had a pleasant discussion with each other. Staff of the CDIC Risk Management Department, the Resolution Department, the Business Department, and the International Relations and Research Office also joined the welcome meeting.
In addition, in the subsequent meetings during 25-27 April 2016, the CDIC staff gave five presentations including the “Overview of Deposit Insurance System in Taiwan,” ”Insurance Risk Management of CDIC,” ” The Early Warning System of CDIC,” ”Handling of Problem Insured Institutions in Taiwan,” and “The Risk-based Premium System in Taiwan.” Meanwhile, the DICoM delegation provided a presentation of “Overview of the Deposit Insurance System in Mongolia.” Moreover, the CDIC staff and the DICoM delegation shared their observations and experiences of the respective deposit insurance systems and their future perspectives.
